Welcome

This year’s Annual Meeting will take place in Buffalo, NY, USA at the University of Buffalo across two areas of campus (Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and University of Buffalo, South Campus for pre-conference) with ample space for academic and social gatherings. In addition, all plenary sessions will take place in Babeville (Asbury Hall) to accommodate all attendees for our keynote presentations.

Buffalo itself is a wonderful city for summer events and travel, with close proximity (about 20-30 minutes from downtown Buffalo) to the nation’s oldest national park and home to the jaw-dropping beauty of Niagara Falls. If you’re arriving for pre-conference or during the weekend of June 8 & 9, you can check out the Allentown Art Festival which is in the neighborhood adjacent to the Jacobs School of Medicine building.

The city has many attractions such as Frank Lloyd Wright’s Martin House, Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park, Buffalo AKG Art Museum and many lovely neighborhoods with cafes, restaurants, micro-breweries, live music venues and shopping. Once you get into Buffalo, the city is quite walkable but there is the metrorail, Uber, Lyft and bus options if you’d like to explore beyond the downtown area.
